The film follows the stories of several uncertain human fates.
Ogi is a boy who could have been born, but in the most crucial moments, destiny changed the course of his life. Initially his parents did not want him, later however when they did, they could not have him. Thus, a fictional Ogi tells us his sad story told through a day of his parents that were not destined. A series of unfortunate events intertwines into the story two policemen, a petty thief, a pastry chef and many others.
One Friday, no different than any other, a doctor decides to commit suicide, two politicians choose a wrong path, a suspect thinks he will never get caught, the pastry chef who is the suspect’s wife knows nothing else but to love, and only the baby that is yet to be born knows his path in life. That is a path of a deserted highway where all will meet.

Jednog petka, baš kao i svakog drugog, jedan lekar donosi odluku da se ubije, dva policajca biraju pogrešan put, osumnjičeni misli da ga nikad neće uhvatiti, poslastičarka, žena osumnjičenog ume jedino da voli, jedino beba koja treba da se rodi zna svoj put. To je put na kojem će se susresti svi učesnici filma na pustom autoputu.
